To hire a vehicle you must bring your valid driving licence, (we can still accept old style paper licences at the moment). Since the abolition of the counterpart licence you will need to either visit the government website to print off your driving record and bring it with you. Alternatively please bring your National Insurance number with you and we can assist you in producing the driver record at the rental desk. You will also need to bring a Utility Bill and a second form of identification; either a debit card or credit card, cash point card or passport.
Drivers must be between 21 and 75 years of age. There are restrictions on driving the 7.5 ton vehicles and minibuses, dependant on when the driver passed their driving test. Please call one of our depots for further details and our staff will be happy to advise.
